At Sira, we believe the greatest gift you can give someone is hope. The kind of hope that empowers another person to press on rather than give up. The kind of hope that comes from having someone believe in you and stand by your side. With that kind of hope, anything is possible. Without it, dreams fade, and the future seems less bright.
Sira’s compassionate staff and pregnancy counselors know what it’s like to have those times in our lives; times when circumstances rob us of hope. We’ve discovered, however, that no matter how hard or painful life seems, hope is still there waiting for us to choose it.
Because we’ve experienced this in our own lives, we are compelled to share this hope with others.
Each day, we meet with women who are confused and hurting. We invite them to come in to Sira, to share their story, a story they often feel they can’t share with anyone else, and we listen.
Many face an unexpected pregnancy or struggle with a past pregnancy decision. Sometimes, it’s an expecting mom or dad who feels overwhelmed and underprepared to be a parent or raise an additional child. Whatever their story, we welcome them with open arms.
For anyone who comes through our doors, Sira will be a safe place: a place where someone will sit and listen; a place to ask questions and get honest answers; a place where one can pause and explore all options; a place where one can find help for today and hope for tomorrow.
