Community Referrals

While working with clients, our advocates often identify needs for additional health, lifestyle and support services. Sometimes, our staff and volunteers assist with those needs directly. Other times, we refer clients to community organizations. Sira’s staff is always happy to explore community referral opportunities to benefit our clients.

Sira offers referrals for free annual Woman Wellness Exams, an important aspect of maintaining a woman’s health.

Wellness Exams generally include:

  • An overall physical examination

  • Review of vital signs

  • Breast exam

  • Pap smear

  • STD/STI testing

  • Routine lab tests

  • Review of healthy lifestyle factors

  • Flu and tetanus immunizations

  • Discussion about any other health issues concerning you

 

Wellness Exams are available at no-charge to any woman 18-years and older who does not have insurance or Medicaid and has not had a physical in the last 12 months.
