At Sira, if your medical pregnancy test is positive, we will then determine the date for a free limited obstetrical ultrasound appointment. The ultrasound will confirm the pregnancy viability.
The ultrasound allows our trained healthcare providers to locate the developing baby, determine if there is a heartbeat and estimate your due date. It can also alert us to signs of ectopic pregnancy, which requires immediate medical attention.
Like our medical pregnancy tests, these ultrasounds are provided free of charge and your results are 100% confidential.
Do I need an ultrasound if I think I’m pregnant?
